Who operates SPLT
SPLT is operated by Ilya Rubtsov for the current beta. For privacy, support, and deletion requests, contact SPLT, operated by Ilya Rubtsov, at ilya@irubtsov.ru.
What SPLT is
SPLT helps groups record shared trip expenses, invite participants, view balances, and mark manual settlements. SPLT does not provide banking services, no bank transfers, payment processing, card processing, open banking, or money movement.
Information you provide
SPLT stores the information needed to run shared events: event names and settings, participant names, invite links, guest sessions, expenses, amounts, currencies, shares, payment or settlement status, and account or session data where accounts are enabled.
Support and feedback
If you email support or send beta feedback, SPLT processes the email address and message content you send so the issue can be reviewed and answered. Do not send passwords, raw invite tokens, card numbers, bank details, or sensitive documents by email.
How SPLT uses information
SPLT uses information to provide the shared expense service, keep event records consistent for all participants, protect invite and guest access, troubleshoot bugs, prevent abuse, and improve beta reliability.
Analytics and logs
SPLT may record privacy-friendly product events such as event_created, invite_opened, guest_joined, expense_created, balance_viewed, and payment_marked. Analytics properties must not contain raw names, notes, expense titles, emails, passwords, or invite tokens. Application logs are used for reliability and security diagnostics and should redact tokens and emails where required.
Crash reporting
For iOS beta work, crash reporting is limited to Apple's own crash reporting once Apple distribution is enabled. SPLT is not adding a third-party crash reporting SDK at this stage.
No AI or OCR
No AI or OCR is used to read receipts, categorize spending, profile users, or make automated decisions in the beta.
Sharing
Event information is visible to participants who have access to the event or a valid guest invite/session. SPLT does not sell personal data. SPLT may disclose information when needed to operate hosting, comply with law, protect the service, or respond to a valid legal request.
Retention
SPLT keeps shared event and ledger records while they are needed for participants to view and close calculations, for security, for support, and for legal or operational records. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve and document the request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data. To make a request, email ilya@irubtsov.ru. Account deletion can also be initiated in the app where accounts are enabled. Shared financial records may need to be retained or anonymized so other participants' event histories and balances remain consistent.
